I am currently migrating a shop from J3 -> J4.4.6 Phoca-Cart 4.0.10. The data transfer from the J3 shop was successful.

I have now noticed that the selection of attributes works differently in the frontend. It is about size selection for e.g. T-shirts (S, M, L .... XXL, XXXL).
In J3 - Phoca Cart 3.5.8, the size selection for the product was NOT marked as a mandatory attribute (Required=no) with the nice effect that the selection window in the frontend did not show a size, but "Select Option". If you now clicked on Add to cart, the message appeared:
'Product not added to the shopping cart. Selection of attribute option is required.'
In the new version, the product is still put in the shopping cart without a size selection without an error message?!
The product then appears in the shopping cart even without a size specification.
Unfortunately, in version 4.0.10 I was no longer able to make a selection as described above before the product can be put in the shopping cart.

You can only set the attribute to required=yes, but then unfortunately "Select Option" is no longer displayed in the selection, but the first size (or the size that was set as 'standard').

Sorry for the long explanation. I'm now wondering whether this was a bug in Cart 3.5.8, since the attribute was marked as 'required=no'. But then a selection HAD to be made before it was put in the shopping cart.

One more small thing: the heading of the 'size' attribute is no longer displayed in the frontend. Bug or adjustable?
