I am looking for a function to disable the shop temporarily for holidays. I could unpublish the component, but then the url would fail (if people have bookmarked it). Additionally, the guy who will run the shop in future should really not fiddle in the Joomla! settings ... you know what I mean ...
I tried with "opening hours", setting it to "closed" (without date, without weekday). And in the E-Shop settings, I switched the options from "deactivated" to "activated (no order possible)" but it didn't work. The shop was still accepting orders.
It looks like Phoca Cart can do this already, but how? Should I create one entry for each weekday (Mon - Sun) in the "opening hours" table?
Any hints welcomed!
